The series begins in conjunction with the soulful, garage rock, roots sound of Toy Soldiers. Bruce Warren of WXPN says, "[Toy Soldiers] bring to mind Shangri-La era Kinks, Nashville Skyline-era Dylan, Bright Eyes and the Black Keys, The Coasters and Carl Perkins." Plus, the dramatic flair of Craig Van Hise (producer of Man Man's Six Demon Bag) is being thrown into the mix.
