Renee Robinson-Buzby began her dance training at Dance Theater ofPennsylvania under Marilyn Budzynski, before attending North CarolinaSchool for the Arts where she studied under Susan McCullough, MelissaHayden, Duncan Noble, among others, and performed the repertory ofAlonzo King. She then moved to Virginia to dance professionally withRichmond Ballet. Throughout her career, Ms. Buzby has had theopportunity to perform in works by choreographers such as GeorgeBalanchine, Chris Burnside, Siobhan Davies, Jacek Luminski, NicholasLeichter, Ann Reinking, Gus Solomons, Jr., Audrey Jung, and Joe Goode.Ms. Buzby has also performed with Starr Foster Dance Project inVirginia, and in Philadelphia with Jeanne Ruddy Dance. Renee receivedher BFA in Dance and Choreography from Virginia CommonwealthUniversity, where she studied and worked with Ron Brown, Mary Cochran,Nicholas Leichter, Bebe Miller, Earl Mosley, Doug Neilson, RisaSteinberg and Doug Varone. Ms Buzby has studied at American DanceFestival (ADF) with David Dorfman, Mark Haim, and Nicholas Leichter andon scholarship at TanzWochen Wein International Dance Festival inVienna, Austria with Frey Faust, and Jorma Uotinen.
